C Language

  • C Language is developed by Dennis Ritchie at AT & T's Bell Laboratories at USA in  1972
  • C programming is considered as the base for other programming language.
  • It is an upgraded version of two earlier languages, called BCPL (Basic Combined Programming Language) and B, which are also developed by Bell Laboratories
  • It was mainly developed as a system programming language to write an operating system
  • C language is considered as the base for other programming language. that is why it is known as Mother language.

  1. Mother language
  2. System programming language
  3. Structured programming language
  4. Mid-level programming language

1.Mother language:
    C language is considered as the mother language of all the programming languages
